PGA TOUR players pledge support to Oklahoma tornado victims

FORT WORTH, Texas — FORT WORTH, Texas — Casey Wittenberg will be part of a charitable effort by PGA TOUR pros donating money to  $100 for every birdie and $500 for every eagle  during this week’s Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.

Their donations will go to the American Red Cross of Oklahoma relief effort. The program is called #MooreBirdiesandEagles.

In addition, Wittenberg’s sponsor, JAN-PRO of Atlanta, will donate $500 for each birdie and $1,000 for each eagle that Wittenberg posts this week. Wittenberg was a standout player at Oklahoma State before turning pro.

“Having spent my college days in Oklahoma, I felt it was important to help the victims and their families from this devastating storm,” Wittenberg said in a statement.
